Back Yard Beauties

I realized yesterday that I hadn't really used my new camera much so I went out in the backyard and took some macro shots. Our Cosmos are in bloom and very pretty. I love the color variety.

And we can't forget sunflowers. A great flower to practice your macro shots on. I like the second one but it is a bit blurry. I was having one of my Vertigo days and I was weaving back and forth while trying to hold the camera up over my head.

I amy have taken these on one of our last nice days. It was rainy today so I'm glad I got out when I did.
