Monochrome Weekly #16

A picture of my husbands Italian mother Mary. Born in 1916, she couldn't have been over a few years old in this shot. I love the details of her attire, such as necklaces, earrings, and tiny ring on her finger. She looks like a little doll to me. Sadly, she died when he was 12 so I didn't have the pleasure of meeting her.

Go see Alieni for more lights and darks.

Nice keepsake picture. I get the dithers when I think of our grandchildren never getting to know me.
Or me, them.

Aren't old photographs wonderful? What about the size of that chair? Amazing. Sweet little girl with lots of details like the jewelry. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing.
