Monochrome Weekly #15

V-DUB Cemetery. A neighbor across the street has two VW's, both non-running. It's sad to see them just sitting there being consumed by weeds and Trumpet Vine.

To see more Mono Theme shots, go see Aileni.

Very sad to see a Caravanette like that... or would you call it a Microbus?

I think its the engines..
especially with the vans that give trouble. Ya, I always like them though. I see the little sun hanging in the bug, cute shots-

Strange how some people use their yards as automobile cemeteries!

Have to move non operable vehicles to its proper place and clean the environment at the same time. Those are "pictures" food for thought.

BTW, thanks for dropping by.

Two of my dream vehicles in one spot! (Though I'd like a Morris 1000 even more than a Beetle.)

And the camper van . . . so much nicer than the posh new kinds where you more or less take your home round with you and have to do all the usual household tasks in consequence.

It's a pity that they are out of use, especially the little one, it looks so charming.

These pictures brought back memories of the time when there were many such vehicles on the road.

I've been seeing more vw bugs on the road lately. Still think they are a 'whale' of a car.

Great shots!

Sad yes, but what's even sadder is that he's likely sitting on a pile of money, letting it rust away! Those two are worth their weight in gold, and they look like they are in pretty danged pristine condition!!
