Sepia Scenes Wednesday #7

Another older picture of my daughter in the snow. I cannot find the original so this is a scanned copy that I had printed. I made it sepia, applied the crackle finish and then printed it on canvas paper to frame. To see more sophisticated sepia's, go here.

I think its a good sepia but I would love to see it w/o the crackle effect

the crackle adds "age" to it, but I might have adjusted it to have more spacing in between the "cracks". Not a lot, just enough so that the features are a little clearer. Especially printed on canvas.

It works though! Nice job!

Wonderful old picture! The crackle and canvas effects really made it special.

You have created an aged effect for this photo! Sepia can make even not so old photos seem so much older!

The crackle finish adds an amazing effect to this delightful photo!

This picture could have been taken 100 years ago - the finish of the photo looks as if it has aged well...

Sweet picture of your daughter. I agree with Mojo about the crackles because her lovely face is hidden by the texture. Lovely just the same.

Beautifully done. It has a surreal atomosphere.

This does look quite aged after all the effects. I'm curious...when was the original photo taken?

Nice job!
What a cutie she is!
I don't think I have crackling in my software - I like it.

I like the effect, it is difficult to do on a people picture. I'm mot sure if it could be done (the crackling)just around the edges.
