Sepia Scenes Wednesday #5

I know I'm cheating a bit here but I really love this shot and it didn't look that good in Sepia alone. So I played with it and and graduated down to a darker color. I use Phixr as my photo editor. To see other creative Sepia shots, go here.

Excellent cheating. And it blends in beautifully with the pretty beads you display on your sidebar. Happy Wednesday to you!

I agree, this one's creative and not cheating. Be creative some more in your next post because I love this post.

Its pretty .. I think, however (and not to take away from the theme), I like it as it was before you played with it ..

I think it's a wonderful enhancement! I really like what you did with it. We have a hint at what the original looks like and the sepia - well done.

My post is on my photoblog: Carletta’s Captures.

I really like what you have created, well done. Isn't it fun to just play with a photo until you you get it just right?

Wow, I love it, how creative. Seashells are timeless and the sepia coloration takes them through the ages

I really like the effect. Shells are so pretty and you've really emphasized that.

So, adjusting the photo as you have is art. Frame this and any white wall will look great!

what a fun image you created, it would be fun to see it the other way around with the sepia as the outside frame.

interesting effect. makes it kind of an art piece outside of a photo. an illustration. reminds me of something i saw back when photoshop 4 was just coming out in a photo magazine where they were playing around with scanned textures and layered compositions. like it a lot.

I think you did a wonderful job on this picture in sepia :)
Perfect effect for the shells!

It's an interesting effect for sure. And I can see why you love the original.

Creative cheating is OK here, at least I think so. I suspect MaryT agrees. I LIKE this. ;-)

Adds some creativity to a wonderful subject, seashells. As I am a lover of all Ocean artifacts I would surely love this hanging on my wall. Your daughters cell phone charms are lovely as is all of your blog. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing your wonderful creativity!
