Watery Wednesday #6

Hi all! I haven't been feeling well, so not 'memeing' as much as I would like. I'm also running low on my favs so maybe I need to go on vacation to take more pics ;-)

Anyway, this was taken at Arcadia Beach, just a few miles South of Cannon Beach in Oregon. It's a smaller, less traveled beach and a great way to spend a day with a picnic basket. There are small tide pools and when the tide is low you can go around a big rock on the right to get to the other side. Just make sure you're back before the tide comes in!

Go see some more Watery Wetness here.

Oh could that be somewhere near Arcata, CA. That's where I took my degree Humboldt St Univ. I miss that place. Your photo is beautiful

P.S. I hope you feel better soon. I shouldn't hit the publish button before I've made sure I've said all I wanted to say. :-)

That's an inspirational chunk of rock. I feel like that rock, and like you describe sometimes. Problem with a vacation is that it just gives me more things to photograph and blog on ...

I love the Oregon coast, but I don't think I've been to Arcadia Beach. After seeing your post, I am making a note to look for this place next time I visit that area.

A breath taking shot. I had no idea there was a beach this beautiful in the USA.

Thanks for a beautiful picture. I've never been to the Oregon coast, but I'm going to have to add it to my 'must see' list.

Great shot! I love the Oregon Coast. I lived in Portland for a short time and traveled from Gold Beach up to Tillamook (or there-abouts). Saw Haystack Rock and Arcadia and a lot of beautiful beaches. Spent a week with my fam near Coos Bay on our quads - that was some of the best riding ever!
Thanks for visiting my blog!
